Stock Market
I have the following for sale:
1) *SPF* For $145 shipped, a used USGI M1 Garand stock with the SA/GAW cartouche and the crossed cannons. It is walnut. It has been through at least one arsenal rebuild, although it looks like it still has the original finish. It has the SA/GAW cartouche and crossed cannons (both very faint) on the left side of the stock. In the same place, it also has 'A A Y' stamped (very pronounced). On the grip area, it has the circle serif-P (also very faint) along with a serif-P (without circle) which is very pronounced. I cannot make out the small ordnance wheel on the pistol grip, although there are several depressions there that could be it. It is too worn there to really tell. The stock has a number or something stamped in the barrel channel and a number and couple letters stamped on the butt (under the buttplate). There are no other readily apparent markings. The stock is in decent shape in most areas, with the usual dings and scratches. However, it has some dramatic wear (and chipping) on the underside of the stock in front of the trigger group area, on the edge of the pistol grip, and the heel of the stock. These areas are shown in the photos at the link below. The stock has also had at least one repair I can make out: there are two plugged holes in the left side of the mag well area (I don't know what that area should be called) -- I've tried to get these to show up in the photos. I cannot find any cracks on the stock. I am also including the metal shown in the photos, although it didn't come with the stock. It is all WWII metal. As far as fit goes, I put my CMP SA action into it and it fits reasonably well. There is no slop on the trigger group and only a very little side to side on the receiver (when pushed hard). There is no receiver overhang. There is very little if any buttplate overhang. If there is any, it is at the heel of the stock where the wood is chipped. You can see photos here:

2) [AJACK scope can sold.]
